Robert James Hawaii - Clothing

Robert James creates unique prints made from his photography.

“Every photograph and print that I have used in my designs tells a story. In essence you will be wearing not just my art, but a piece of my heart....I know that sounds corny, but it's true,” explains James.

James was surrounded by beautiful flowers and botanicals growing up thanks to the green thumbs of his mom and grandmother. It wasn’t until 2004, when his partner got him a camera, that he began to take photos.

“I started off making notecards with my prints . Since then, it has evolved into much more than I could have ever imagined! I never dreamt that an apparel line would come out of all of this!”

“Our designs and prints are inspired by the passion for hula, Hawaiian culture, native Hawaiian plants and the beauty of Hawai’i,” explained Henriques. “All of our pieces are handmade and traditional batik dyeing techniques are used. Every piece has its own uniqueness made with love. “

Green & Fit Mama

Jodi Kaopuiki worked at Aloha Airlines for 8 years before the airline shuttered. The end of Aloha led her to launch her own healthy food and supplement company.

“My business is Green & Fit Mama, it just started out as a way to share my passion for natural health and fitness, healthy eating and herbal remedies,” shared Kaopuiki.

Kaopuiki started making raw superfood energy bars over 12 years ago and decided to offer them to the public. As of last year she started selling her bars at farmers markets across Oahu, and then slowly added on health supplements including her Golden Turmeric Paste, CBD oil topical salves and Immunity Honey.

“ I wish to share my passion of eating healthy foods and using natural remedies for chronic and acute ailments first before turning to the addiction of pharmaceutical drugs,” said Kaopuiki. “My passion is to inspire others to love their bodies, be mindful of what they put in, as well as on it and to stay fit.”
